Summary:

A concrete mixing plant, also known as a batching plant, is primarily used for mixing concrete. A complete set of equipment typically includes a mixing system, aggregate supply system, powder storage system, liquid storage and metering system, powder metering system, control system, and auxiliary equipment. The size of a concrete mixing plant is classified by its theoretical hourly production capacity. Common sizes in China include HZS25, HZS35, HZS50, HZS60, HZS75, HZS90, HZS120, HZS180, HZS200, HZS240, and HZS270. In the HZS series, 'H' represents concrete, 'Z' represents mixing plant, and 'S' represents twin-shaft forced mixing plant. The number indicates the hourly output. For example, HZS120 refers to a concrete mixing plant with an hourly production capacity of 120 cubic meters. As a core hub for concrete production, mixing plants are widely used in the construction of infrastructure such as buildings, roads, ports, wharves, and airports. Their performance and configuration directly affect the quality and efficiency of the project. Zhengxun Heavy Industry, a leader in the construction machinery industry, understands that each mixing plant carries different missions and expectations. Today, let's explore the different classifications of mixing plants from multiple perspectives to see which type is suitable for your project.

Zhengxun Heavy Industry, as a leader in the construction machinery industry, understands that each mixing plant carries different missions and expectations. Today, let's explore the different classifications of mixing plants from multiple perspectives to see which type is suitable for your project.

I. Classification by Structural Type

Stationary Mixing Plant: This type of mixing plant is built and rooted at the construction site, providing stable support for long-term operations. Its design emphasizes durability and efficiency. Common specifications include HZS90, HZS120, HZS180, HZS200, HZS240, and HZS270, suitable for large-scale, long-term projects that can maximize production potential. Environmental 5

Mobile Mixing Plant: Flexible and mobile. Mobile mixing plants are generally towed by a trailer unit, offering good mobility. Their detachable and easy-to-transport features allow for quick deployment to project sites, eliminating geographical limitations. They are generally used for various small and medium-sized temporary construction projects.

II. Classification by Application

Commercial Concrete Mixing Plant: Designed specifically for the production of ready-mixed concrete, providing high-quality concrete products of various grades to the market. Zhengxun Heavy Industry's commercial concrete mixing plants have comprehensive equipment configurations to meet the needs of various customers. They are typically located in easily accessible areas, have large storage capacities, and efficient delivery systems, serving a wide range of construction markets. The design requires high efficiency, economy, and environmental protection.

Engineering Mixing Plant: Serves specific engineering projects directly. Zhengxun Heavy Industry can customize the configuration according to project needs, usually configured to meet the project's requirements. It emphasizes close coordination with the construction site to ensure timely and accurate concrete supply.

III. Classification by Process Layout

Single-stage Mixing Plant: It features a centralized lifting system that lifts sand, gravel, cement, and other raw materials to the top storage bins of the mixing plant. The production process follows a top-down principle. After precise metering, each material falls layer by layer, finally mixing and discharging at the bottom. This design is common in mixing tower forms. The advantage of a single-stage mixing plant is its high mixing efficiency, but the construction process is complex, relocation is inconvenient later, and the initial investment cost is high.

Two-stage Mixing Plant: It adopts a more flexible aggregate handling method. The aggregates are weighed first, and then the weighed aggregates are lifted to the mixer for mixing. Although this design increases the footprint of the mixing plant and slightly reduces mixing efficiency compared to a single-stage mixing plant, it offers advantages such as convenient disassembly, low manufacturing cost, and easy installation, making it more widely used in practice.

IV. Classification by Weighing Method

Independent Weighing: Each material is equipped with a separate weighing unit to ensure that each material is accurately weighed before being sent to the mixer for mixing. This weighing method is known for its high accuracy, significantly improving the accuracy of concrete mixing ratios. Its design is complex and the cost is high, mostly used in large mixing plant projects.

Cumulative Weighing: All aggregates are added to a unified hopper at once, simplifying the operation process. However, this method is prone to error accumulation due to the mixing of multiple materials, which can negatively affect the quality of the final concrete product. The risk of error accumulation increases with the number of batching bins. The advantage of cumulative weighing is its relatively simple structural design and low equipment cost. It is mostly used in small and medium-sized mixing plant projects.

V. Classification by Number of Mixing Hosts

Single-host Mixing Plant: Each mixing plant is equipped with one mixing host, with only one production line and usually one or two bins, focusing on a single production task.

Dual-host Mixing Plant: Equipped with two mixing hosts. Zhengxun Heavy Industry's design features different independent discharge ports for different hosts. With the same specifications, its production capacity is double that of a single-host plant, with higher production efficiency, stable operation, and wide applicability.
